Transition Towards a Zero Emission Port
Kristiansand Port is one of three ports that contributes in a major research project, where Sintef aim to gain knowledge on how we can become a zero emission port. It is important for us to contribute, as it will give us the insight we need to reach our goal of beeing an environmental friendly port.
The Project is called Transition Towards Zero Emission Ports (TRAZEPO), and will identify opportunities and limits ports face when using different zero emission solutions. The goal is that ports will contribute in making the transport sector more sustainable. Kristiansand Port contribute to the project allongside Narvik Port, Oslo Port, Norske havner (Norwegian ports assotiation) and Kystverket (Norwegian Coastal Administration) contribute to the project.
