Kristiansand Havn IKS adjusts the fairway fee

Kristiansand Havn IKS adjusts the fairway fee from NOK 0.16,- per Gross Tonne to NOK 0.20,-
The fairway fee is a fee paid by all ships calling at ports in Kristiansand and Lindesnes. It is a fee that is based on the self-cost principle, which means that all possible adjustments in the fee must be anchored in increased costs related to work carried out. The minimum fee per call is set at NOK 320,-
For 2023, the following discounts apply:
- Ships on fixed routes with more than one call per week get a 20% discount
- Ships on fixed routes with one to four calls per month are given a 15% discount
- Ships that only call at the port for bunkering, provisioning or crew changes are given an 80% discount (Ltineraries must be approved by the port)
Vessels that are exempt from fairway dues:
- Vessels with a maximum length of less than fifteen (15) meters
- Salvage and icebreaking vessels in connection with salvage and icebreaking
- Naval vessel, coast guard, Norwegian and foreign
- Coastal Agency vessels in connection with work in the fairway
- The Governor of Svalbard's service vessel and the Norwegian Polar Institute's vessel in connection with work in the fairway on Svalbard
- Vessels that call at a port due to damage or a state of emergency and the vessel does not load, unload, or take passengers on board
