Norway`s Most Effective Port
The Port of Kristiansand is Norway`s most effective and productive port. This conclusion is from the results of a published study by Halvor Schøyen (University College of Buskerud and Vestfold) and James Odeck (University College of Molde).
The study has collected a range of data over the last years, and compared several Norwegian ports as well as other ports in Scandinavia and Great Britain. The study intents to gain more knowledge on how ports score compared to other ports on a set of result indicators.
The ports includes in this study is: Oslo, Borg, Moss, Larvik, Aalesund and Kristiansand (N). Gothenburg, Stockholm, Helsingborg (S), Aarhus, Aalborg and Fredricia (DK) Reykjavik (IS). Helsinki, Turku and Rauma (FIN), and Southampton, Immingham and Grangemouth (GB).
